Connor Richard - Assistant General Manager

Connor is currently a coach in the Both Blazers youth program. Connor graduated from Providence College where he was assisted with the Men’s Friars as a video coach from 2014-2017 and played club hockey. Connor grew up in Milton, MA and will also be an on-ice skills coach.
Shamus Maloney - Head of Skill Development

Shamus joins Elev802 South Shore after coaching for the U18 Neponset Valley River Rats this past fall. Prior to the River Rats, he was the Head Coach for the U16 South Shore Kings for 4 Seasons (2019-2023).
Shamus had a successful playing career that started at Mount Saint Charles Academy then Tabor Academy. While at Tabor, Shamus played for GM Jon Hutcheon and the U18 River Rats that won the 2013 USA Hockey National Championship. He then went on to play for the South Shore Kings (NCDC) and committed to Endicott College (NCAA DIII). He played two seasons for the Gulls then finished his college career at Stonehill College. During his playing career, he was able to learn and work for several NHL skill coaches. Shamus brings years of experience and passion for coaching that will drive our players development.
SHANE WALSH - SKILLS COACH
Shane played for four seasons at UMass Amherst (NCAA Division 1) and then played over 200 professional games in the East Coast Hockey League. Shane has worked at various hockey clinics over the past five years and brings a wealth of knowledge and fun to every skills session!
ETHAN KIMBALL - SKILLS COACH
Ethan joins the Elev802 South Shore staff after finishing up his four year player career at Bowdoin College (NCAA Division III). Before Bowdoin, Ethan attended St. Mark’s School where he was a standout for 4 seasons. He then played two seasons for the Powell River Kings in the BCHL. Ethan brings great experience to our staff and will be a great resource to the players.
PETER CAHILL - SKILLS COACH
A graduate of Williams College, Pete was also an assistant coach at Portsmouth Abbey the past two seasons. Prior to attending Williams, Peter was a standout for Belmont Hill. He currently coaches in the Dorchester Youth Hockey program.
JOSH LOVERIDGE - SKILLS COACH
Josh joins the Elev802 South Shore staff after graduating from Stonehill College in 2022 where he won an NCAA D2 National Championship. Josh has worked on the ice both as a student and a coach with Jon Hutcheon for the past 9 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to every skills session. Most recently Josh worked as a skills coach and head coach for the Crimson Hockey Club out of Stoughton, MA.
JARED McCRACKEN - SKILLS COACH
Jared is also a graduate of Stonehill College (2021), originally from Atlanta, GA, Jared moved to Boston in 2014 to play for Jon Hutcheon and has since made the Boston area his home. Jared was a teammate of Josh on Stonehill’s National Championship team as a forward. Jared has worked as a skills coach both with Jon Hutcheon and for the Crimson Hockey Club.
